This is a looong way off what Mahabharata fans are used to, but in case any of you are still children at heart (!), and fans of Enid Blyton, do check out this thread! And drop me a comment on how I am doing! I missed our old chats! :-)

One fact that may have escaped the fans of Frederick Algernon Trotteville ('Fatty'), #EnidBlyton's version of Sherlock Holmes, is this:
Fatty will be 92 this month! #fiction#Threads
In #EnidBlyton’s quasquicentennial(!) year, how fares #Peterswood? What remains of that wonderful village on River Thames, where five children and a black Scottie ran circles around Mr Goon, the village policeman?
Print copies of a book, any book, is special. These should have been out in December, but here they are finally! If you pick up a copy on Amazon, do drop me a note to say what you thought, reading this on paper. #Mahabharata#Fiction
It is simplistic to dismiss Deepika Padukone’s support at JNU as ‘movie promotion.’ She’s a mega star & knows the risks of boycotts/demonisation. Which is what the mighty Khans faced & retreated. Or why the great AB won’t speak. The fact is that Deepika simply has more courage

@SowmyaJatesan The good thing about a story is that it is open to interpretation! I wasn’t thinking of enlightenment, though. More as someone who is a realist, a pragmatist, who knows how the land lies. He is not fooling himself, and knows that even if he wins the duel, he will be killed.
@SowmyaJatesan I was trying to write between lines — focus on aspects that have not been written about, and write more about what went behind the war! Really enjoyed doing the Bhanumati chapter! And Gandhari — who hates the Kurus and has blindfolded not out of love but because of hate. :)
