The Most Rev. Sean W. Rowe, Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, joined @newporttrinity on Trinity Sunday to lead worship and to celebrate their tricentennial. We’re grateful for the Presiding Bishop’s encouragement to our oldest, still vibrant parish! ⛪️
Happy Trinity Sunday! This is Episode 2 of “Rev. Barbie’s Clergy Closet,” where we talk about why Episcopal priests wear the things they wear. ✝️

This Tuesday of Holy Week, clergy from across the Diocese gathered at @newporttrinity for Chrism Mass and to renew their ordination vows. We praise God for our clergy and the communities they serve!
From Bishop Knisely: “Devastated by the news of today’s shooting in Pawtucket, I am holding all the victims and their families in my thoughts and prayers. I am also praying for the first responders as they grapple with the senselessness of this tragedy.”
“Almighty God, we entrust all who are dear to us to thy never-failing care and love…knowing that thou art doing for them better things than we can desire or pray for...” - “For Those We Love”, Book of Common Prayer pg. 831
