@FranzHoegl Hauptproblem: ausserhalb der deutschsprachigen Bildungstheorie (hier: Idee von Bildung) meint man mit Bildung oft ~ “Bildungs- inkl. Schulsystem” (ähnlich wie education ~ schooling system) und damit “Abschlüsse und Qualifizierung”. Konfusion vorprogrammiert.

@cortexfutura Luhmann’s writings can be categorized in the ones before and after the autopoietic turn. That is why some of his early writings, where he has not yet absorbed autopoiesis theory (Maturana & Varela) are a pleasure to read (e.g. Der neue Chef, the ones on Vertrauen, Macht…)
