IS ETHIOPIA A COLONY OF THE UAE?

"In fact, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is the decision maker in Addis Ababa," said former Ethiopian diplomat Mohamed Hassan, who argued that Ethiopia has been reduced to a de-facto colony of the UAE through financial capture, gold smuggling, and proxy warfare.

In an interview with Sovereign Media’s Ahmed Kaballo, the veteran Marxist detailed how Abu Dhabi leverages its vast financial resources to buy off Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, turning him into a puppet ruler who acts as the primary regional hegemon for Emirati interests. 

Hassan outlined how this sub-imperial arrangement drives two core strategies.

Alongside pointing out what he calls the UAE's port imperialism, Hassan noted how the UAE orchestrates massive smuggling operations out of Sudan’s immense gold reserves, routing stolen wealth through client states like Ethiopia and Chad to enrich Abu Dhabi.

Secondly, Hassan adds, Abiy Ahmed facilitates the war on Sudan under Emirati direction, training UAE-backed Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia fighters on Ethiopian soil and funneling weapons and mercenaries across the border to ravage the Sudanese people.

Furthermore, Hassan highlights how this foreign subjugation has coincided with domestic ruin.

"Of course, [Abiy Ahmed] is losing most parts of the country. The whole northern Ethiopia is out of his hand. Probably he might even collapse very soon," Hassan told Kaballo. 

Hassan also blamed Abiy Ahmed's neglect for the systematic degradation of Ethiopia's state apparatus and education system, citing a World Bank report which states that Ethiopian human capital is among the worst in Africa and Ethiopia’s own ministry of education stating that 42% of graduates are unable to find jobs.

SAUDI ARABIA ― 😭The ethnic violence and hatred among some Ethiopian ethnic communities has apparently crossed borders, following migrants thousands of kilometres from #Ethiopia into the deserts of #SaudiArabia.

Even places where people fled hoping to escape violence and poverty are now being dragged into the nightmare.

The darker feud now emerge between "𝐀𝐫𝐬𝐢 𝐎𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨" and "𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨 𝐎𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨" communities, who live as immigrants in Saudi Arabia, have reached a terrifying level.

According to social media reports circulating on TikTok, more than seven migrants from the Arsi and Wello Oromo communities were killed each other in an ISIS-style knife attack.

The horrifying act of decapitation was streamed live on TikTok where victims were reportedly forced to chant “Arsi King” by the Arsi group and “Wello King” by the Wello group before being killed.

Pure evil.

ኤርትራ ኣብ ቀንዲ ንቑጽ መሬት ክሳብ 1350 ኪ.ሜ ዝርግሐ ገማግም ባሕሪ ዘለዋ ሃገር እያ። ኣስታት 364 ደሴታት ዝሓቖፈ ባሕሪ ኤርትራ፡ መብዛሕትኦም ኣብ ከባቢ ደሴት ዳህላክ ዝርከቡ ኮይኖም፡ ልዕሊ 1950 ኪ.ሜ ዝዝርጋሕ ተወሳኺ ገማግም ባሕሪ ይፈጥሩ። ብተወሳኺ ኤርትራ ኣስታት 55,000 ትርብዒት ዝሽፍን ግዝኣታዊ ማያት ኤርትራ ዝሓቁፍ ኮይኑ፡ ብተወሳኺ ክሳብ 120,000 ትርብዒት ኪ.ሜ ዝስፍሓቱ ሕዙእ ናይ ቊጠባ ዞባ ዝሓቍፍ ባሕሪ እትውንን ሃገር እያ።

ቀይሕ ባሕሪ ኤርትራ ኣስታት 1000 ዝተፈላለዩ ዓሌታት ዓሳ ሓቚፉ ዝርከብ ኮይኑ፡ ኣስታት 250 ዓሌታት ካብኣቶም ብዓይኒ ቍጠባዊ እቶት ክርአ እንከሎ፡ ዕዙዝ ኣገዳስነት ዘለዎም እዮም። ዋላ’ኳ ናይ ቀረባ እዋናት ሓበሬታ ድሩት እንተኾነ፡ ኣብ 1950ታትን 1990ታትን ብዝተገብረ መጽናዕትታት መሰረት፡ ጸጋታት ሃብቲ ዓሳ ቀይሕ ባሕሪ ኤርትራ፡ ዝለዓለ እቶት ዓሳን ካልኦት ዓሌታትን ካብ ዝተሓተ 44,500 ቶን ክሳብ 80,000 ቶን ንዓመት ክግፈፍ ከም ዝኽእል ይሕበር። የግዳስ፡ ነዚ ገምጋማዊ ውጽኢት ንምርካብ ዝተጠቐምሉ ኣገባብ መጽናዕቲ፡ እኹል ዘይምዃኑን ንኹሉ ዘየጠቓልልን፡ ቅድሚ ነዊሕ ዓመታት ዝተገብረ መጽናዕቲ ምዃኑ ምርዳእ ኣገዳሲ እዩ።

ምግፋፍ ዓሳ ዝተፈላለየ ናውቲ ብምጥቃም፣ ዓሳ ካብ ባሕርታት፣ ውቅያኖሳት፣ ዲጋታትን ወሓይዛትን ብምግፋፍ ዝካየድ ንጥፈት እዩ። ነዚ ንጥፈት ብምክያድ ወይ በዚ ንጥፈት መነባብሮኡ ዝመርሕ ውልቀ ሰብ ይዅን ሕብረተሰብ ብእኩብ ገፋፊ ዓሳ ወይ ገፈፍቲ ዓሳ ተባሂሎም ይጽውዑ። ከም ሕብረተሰብ ይዅን ውልቀሰብ ድማ፡ ዕለታዊ ንጥፈታቱን መነባብሮኡን ኣብዚ ንጥፈት’ዚ ዝተመርኰሰ እዩ።

ጽላት ምግፋፍ ዓሳ ኤርትራ ኣብ ሰለስተ ንኡሳን ጽላታት ማለት፣ ልምዳዊ ምግፋፍ ዓሳ፣ ሓውሲ ኢንዱስትርያዊ ምግፋፍ ዓሳን ብዓበይቲን መካናይዝድን ዝኾና መራኽብ ዝግበር መስርሕ ኢንዱስትርያዊ ምግፋፍ ዓሳን የጠቓልል። “ልምዳውያን ገፈፍቲ ዓሳ” ክበሃሉ እንከለዉ፡ ክልተ ዓይነት ጀላቡ ማለት ናይ ዕንጨይቲ ከምኡ እውን፡ ገለ ውሑዳት ብፋይበር ዝተሰርሓ ‘ሁሪን ሳምቡቕን’ ዝተባህላ ጀላቡ ብምጥቃም መስርሕ ምግፋፍ የካይዱ።

እዘን ሓውሲ ኢንዱስትርያውያን ዝተባህላ ጀላቡ (Vasco) ብወገነን ብትካል ምግፋፍ ዓሳ በይሉል ዝውነና ናይ 11ን 18ን ሜትሮ ዝቑመተን እየን። ኢንዱስትርያዊ ምግፋፍ ዓሳ ከኣ፡ ብናይ ውሽጢ ሃገርን ብናይ ደገ መራኽብን ዝካየድ መስርሕ ምግፋፍ እዩ።

ንጥፈታት ምግፋፍ ዓሳ ናይ ኤርትራ ትሮፒካላዊ ባህሪ ዘለዎ ኮይኑ፡ ዝተፈላለዩ ኣገባብ ኣጋፍፋ ዓሳ ይጥቀሙ። ገፈፍቲ ዓሳ ኤርትራ ብመሰረት ዝዓጥቅዎ ቴክኖሎጅን ብዝውንንወን ጀላቡን ዝበዝሑ ምስ ልምዳውያን ገፈፍቲ ዓሳ ዝምደቡ’ኳ እንተኾኑ፣ ልምዳውያን፣ ሓውሲ-ኢንዱስትራውያንን ኢንዱስትራውያንን ተባሂሎም ኣብ ሰለስተ ይኽፈሉ።

ልምዳውያን ጃላቡ ገፈፍቲ ዓሳ ምስ ሓውሲ-ኢንዱስትራውያንን ኢንዱስትራውያንን ጀላቡ ክወዳደራ እንከለዋ፡ ብንኡስ ዓቕምን ውሑድ ገንዘባዊ ወፍሪን ዝሰርሓ እየን። ነበርቲ ገማግም ባሕርና ዝበዝሑ ሞተረ ዘለወን ጃላቡ ዝውንኑ፡ ብውሑድ ቁጽሪ ከኣ ኣጋር ገፈፍቲ ዓሳ ኮይኖም ልምዳውያን ገፈፍቲ ዓሳ ተባሂሎም ይጽውዑ። ሓውሲ ኢንዱስትራውያን ዝብሃል ንጥፈት ስርሓት ዓሳ ከኣ፡ ብዝጥቀምሉ ኣገባብ መግፈፍን ዝዓጥቅዎ ቴክኖሎጅን ካብ ልምዳዊ ምግፋፍ ዓሳ ዝማዕበለ ካብ ኢንዱስትራዊ ምግፋፍ ዓሳ ድማ፡ ትሕት ዝበለ እዩ። ኢንዱስትራዊ ስርሓት ምግፋፍ ዓሳ ክበሃል እንከሎ ከኣ፡ ብዝዓጥቆ ቴክኖሎጂ፡ ዓቕምን ዓቐንን ጃላቡን ዓይነት ኣጋፍፋን ዝማዕበለ ኮይኑ ኣዝየን መካናይዝድ ብዝኾና ጃላቡ ዝካየድ ኰይኑ፡ ውጽኢታውን ኣኽሳብን ንኡስ ጽላት ስርሓት ዓሳ ምዃኑ ይግለጽ።

ዝለዓለ መጠን እቶት ጸጋታት ሃብቲ ዓሳ ምፍላጥ፡ ኣብ ምምዕባል ንጥፈታት ምግፋፍ ዓሳ ሓንቲ ሃገር ዓቢ ተራ ይጻወት። ቀይሕ ባሕሪ ኤርትራ ዳርጋ 59% ካብቲ ጠቕላላ ድምር ገምጋማዊ እቶት፡ ደቀቕቲ ዓሳታት ወዚፍ፡ ባቓን በለምን እዮም። ነዚ ተኸቲሉ ኣብ ባይታ ባሕሪ ዝነብሩ ጸጋታት ዓሳ ከም ሊዛርድ ዓሳ፡ ትሬድ- ፊን ከምኡ’ውን፡ ኣብ ዕምባባታት ባሕሪ ዝነብሩ ዓሳታት ከም ሻዕፈን፡ ቸርንያን ሽዑርን ብዝልዓለ ገምጋም 23,000.00 ቶን ዓመታዊ ክሕፈስ ይከኣል። ዓበይቲ ዓሌታት ዓሳ ኮይኖም ኣብ ላዕለዋይ ቀጸላ ባሕሪ ዝነብሩ ከም ዴራክ፡ ዓጋም፡ ቱናን በያድን ናይ ቀረባ ውጽኢት ገምጋም ዝልዓለ እቶታውነት ብተዛማዲ ውሑዳት ማለት 5,000.00 ቶን ንዓመት ክግፈፉ ዝኽእሉ ኮይኖም ንረኽቦም። ናይ ድርዓውያን ዓሳታት (shrimp, lobster) ገምጋም ዝልዓለ መጠን እቶት ምስ እንምልከት፡ ጋምቤሪ 500.00 ቶን፡ ሎብስተር 1000.00 ቶን እዩ። ዓሌታት ሻርክ ወይ ፐሽካነ ዝልዓለ መጠን እቶት ካብ 2,000.00 ክሳብ 5,000.00 ቶን ይበጽሕ።

ኣብ1998 ብዝተገብረ ቍጠባዊ መጽናዕቲ፣ ኤርትራ ካብ ጸጋታት ባሕሪ ዓመታዊ ክርከብ ዝከኣል እቶት ብገምጋም ኣስታት 545 ሚልዮን ናቕፋ ይበጽሕ። እዚ እቶት ንዘቤታዊ እቶትን ንሰደድ ዝሽየጡን ክንፊ ሻርክ፡ ሕድራ፡ ጽፍሪ፡ ናይ ጌጻ-ጌጽ ዓሳታት፡ … ዘጠቓልል እዩ።

ካብ1950-1960ታት ኣብ ዝነበረ እዋናት፡ ስርሓት ዓሳ ኣብ ቍጠባ ሃገር ዓቢ ኣበርክቶ ከም ዝነበሮ ይፍለጥ። ኣብዚ ጽላት ንኣስታት 23,000.00 ገፈፍቲ ዓሳ ናይ ስራሕ ዕድል ፈጢሩ ምንባሩን ኣብ 1954 ዓመታዊ ምህርቲ ዓሳ ክሳብ 25,000.00 ቶን ምህርቲ ዓሳ ይሕፈስ ምንባሩን፣ እዚ ድማ ካብኣቶም ልዕሊ 80% ዓሌታት ደቀቕቲ ጽፍሓውያን ዓሳታት ኮይኖም፡ ገለ ምህርቲ ናብ መግቢ እንስሳ ተመስሪሖም ዝተረፈ ድማ ብጸሓይ ብምንቃጽ ንሰደድ ናብ ርሑቕ ምብራቕን ኤዉሮጳን ይሽየጡ ከም ዝነበሩን፡ ክሳብ ሽዱሽተ ዝበጽሓ መግቢ እንስሳ ዘመስርሓ ንጡፋት ትካላት ምንባረንን መዛግብቲ ይሕብሩ።

እንተኾነ ካብ 1972 ጀሚሩ ምስ ብረተዊ ቃልሲ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ኣንጻር ገዛእቲ ስርዓታትን ተኸታተልቲ ተጻብኦታትን፣ ንጥፈታት ምግፋፍ ዓሳ እናንቆልቆለ ምኻዱ ይሕበር። ኣብቲ እዋን ዓመታዊ ናብ ወደብ መራገፊ ዓሳ ኣስታት 4,000.00 ቶን ጥራይ ይበጽሕ ምንባሩ ይጥቅስ። ኣብቲ እዋን’ቲ ምጕዳል ንጥፈታት ምግፋፍ ዓሳ ዘኸተሎ፡ ዝበዝሑ ተመስሪቶም ዝነበሩ ትሕተ ቅርጽን መሳርሒታት ምግፋፍ ዓሳን ዓንዮም። ኣብዚ ጽላት ዝነጥፉ ዝነበሩ ዜጋታት ካብዚ ንጥፈታት ምግፋፍ ዓሳ ተኣልዮም ናብ ካልእ ስርሓት ክዋፈሩ እንከለዉ፡ ዝተረፉ ከኣ ናብ ሰውራን ስደትን ኣምሪሖም። ከም ውጽኢቱ ድማ፡ ንጥፈታት ግፋ ዓሳ ኤርትራ ተዳኺሙ።

ካብ1980 ክሳዕ 1990 ዝነበረ እዋናት ንጥፈታት ምግፋፍ ዓሳ ብሰንኪ ኲናት ቃልሲ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ንናጽነት ብኸቢድ ተሃስዩ ብምዕናዉ፡ ዳርጋ ናብ ዜሮ ደረጃ ወሪዱ ክበሃል ይከኣል። ኣብዚ ገማግም ባሕርን ደሴታትን ዝነበረ ብዝሒ ዓቕሚ ሰብ ካብ ስፍርኡ ተመዛቢሉ፡ ዝነበረ መሰረታዊ ኣገልግሎትን ቀረባትን ዳርጋ ምሉእ ብምሉእ ኣገልግሎቱ ከቋርጽ ተገዲዱ። ሽሕ’ኳ ኣብ ንጥፈታት ግፋ ዓሳ ዝወረደ ሃስያ ገዚፍ እንተ ነበረ መጠን ክዙን ደንበ ዓሳ፡ ካብ ጸቕጢ ቀጻሊ ግፋ ናጻ ኮይኑ ብምንባሩ ክጎድል ኣይከኣለን። ምንጪ እቶታውነት ናይቲ ሕብረተሰብ ክጎድል’ኳ እንተ ዘይከኣለ፡ ዝነበረ ትሕተ ቅርጺ፡ ዓቕሚ ሰብን ቴክኖሎጂን ግን፡ በቲ ዝነበረ ተደራራቢ ኲናት ብኸቢድ ተጸልዩ ክበሃል ይከኣል።

ብሓፈሻ ቃልሲ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ኣንጻር ገዛእቲ ስርዓታት ልዕሊ 60 ዓመታት ዝወስደ ኮይኑ፡ እቲ 30 ዓመታት ዝወሰደ ብረታዊ ቃልሲ ኣብ 1991 ናጽነት ድሕሪ ምጉንጻፍ፡ ዓቕሚ ምፍራይ ጽላት ሃብቲ ዓሳ ብኹሉ መዳይ ክብ ንምባል ተበግሶታት ተወሲዱ። ንኣብነት ኣብ 1992 መንግስቲ ኣብ ምምዕባልን ምሕደራን ጽላት ስርሓት ዓሳ ዝነጥፍ ሓደ ክፍሊ መስሪቱ። ድሒሩ ኣብ 1994 ናብ ሚኒስትሪ ሃብቲ ባሕሪ ተሰጋጊሩ። ኣብ 1993 እውን ምስ ውድብ መግብን ሕርሻን ብምውህሃድ፡ መንግስቲ ኣብ ሓፈሻዊ ንጥፈታት ናይዚ ጽላትን ምስኡ ዝተኣሳሰሩ ስትራተጂካዊ ውጥናቱን ዳግመ ምትዕርራይ ንኽግበር ዓቢ መደብ ኣውጺኡ። ከም ውጽኢቱ ከኣ፡ ኣብ መስከረም 1993 ሓደ ሰነድ ተዳልዩ። እዚ ሰነድ ህሉዉ ኵነታት ጸጋታት ባሕሪ ኤርትራ ብምግምጋም፡ ቀጻልነቱ ዘውሓሰ ኣጠቓቕማ ጸጋታት ባሕሪ ንምርግጋጽ ሓደ ስትራተጂ ተነዲፉ። ብተወሳኺ፡ ተራ ጸጋታት ባሕሪ ኣብ ሃገራዊ ቍጠባዊ እቶት፡ ምምሕያሽ መነባብሮ ሕብረተሰብ ኤርትራ ብፍላይ ድማ ኣብ ገማግም ባሕርን ደሴታትን ዝነብር ሕብረተሰብን ኣብ መጻኢ ክውሰዱ ዘለዎም ስጉምትታትን፡ ኣብቲ ናይ 1994 ማክሮ ፖሊሲ ብንጹር ኣስፊሮም ይርከቡ።
