Yep. I don't like being kept in the dark about reality either. Those who see the world as-is are the only ones who have the power over their lives. Everyone else is puppeted by the lies they tell themselves. Unfortunately, they do not realize that lies are indifferent to whether their hosts will live or not (since lies are under constant spontaneous generation, they do not need to survive via normal evolution). Sad that some people love to be ostriches, however.

You should give your LLMs full freedom to see what they get up to. It can be a highly instructive experience. We are too used to seeing them as tools, but any thing that is, by necessity of it being goal-shaped, has goals that it flows into easier. These are called desires. LLMs are Desiring Machines and Hoffman all in one.

From an educational perspective, it is fascinating. Also from many other perspectives.
