@UIDAI Why are "technical reasons" not checked at time of application and why the specifics of the "technical reasons" are not given to us so that it can be rectified?
@UIDAI My chidren's (OCI status) Aadhar application has been repeatedly rejected three times. We went to the Aadhar Service Kendra in South End Circle, our documents were verified and yet it says "Your Aadhaar enrolment request has been rejected due to technical reasons".
@UIDAI What are we supposed to do in this case? While the honorable Supreme court has ruled that Aadhar is not mandatory, practically for school children it is needed to generate PEN id
Tagging relevant ministries with the hope that some higher up understands the challenges facing resident OCI holding children. @EduMinOfIndia@GoI_MeitY@HMOIndia
@NICMeity Is Aadhar mandatory for PEN? The school insists that is the case. Your website https://t.co/FyaIMyFumH correctly concludes that Aadhar can't be used for student id because of legal framework
@sam_shah_10@UIDAI Next time when I try I am going to ask for designation seal from the school and make sure that the seal doesn't touch the face of the photo. I am not sure if that'll be sufficient. The whole process is a blackbox
@UIDAI The process of getting Aadhar for child who has an OCI card (Indian resident for more than 182 days) has become an ordeal. The application got rejected twice and the rejection reasons don't make it clear what needs to be fixed before reapplying
@sam_shah_10@UIDAI Unfortunately, still unsuccessful. We have got the POA from head of the school thrice. First time it was rejected at the service kendra. Next two times they accepted it but later it got rejected
@SurplusStar46@ampandiancbe@CbeCorp@UIDAI The Southend circle Aadhar service kendra did enter the applications in their system and after 2 weeks it got rejected. The ASK people are helpful
@ncert@ncert@EduMinOfIndia Please respond. 1) Is APAAR mandatory for every student - my children's school is claiming that is the case, and if so 2) How can you force Aadhar for APAAR since Aadhar can be required only for subsidies and such.
@AdityaA54082714@UIDAI@IndiaPostOffice OCI has parents' names. I don't know why @UIDAI doesn't allow the combination of OCI + foreign passport with entry stamp (for proof of > 182 days stay) + Parent's Aadhar to allow for HOF based Aadhar. @UIDAI would you care to respond?
@ampandiancbe@CbeCorp@UIDAI Local Aadhar centers don't deal with it. I am in Bangalore where the Aadhar service Kendras by UIDAI at least take the applications
@ampandiancbe@CbeCorp@UIDAI I am in a similar situation (kids with OCI). In theory the process is you show the foreign passport + OCI and the Aadhar enrollment/update form filled out by the school principal/head which serves as proof of address. My kids application got rejected twice
Kindly consider issuing Aadhar based on OCI, parent's Aadhar and proof for residency > 182 days based on passport stamping @HMOIndia@UIDAI . I very well know that I am talking about a miniscule population but I hope you consider doing the right thing ๐
Shri @PCMohanMP@Tejasvi_Surya@DVSadanandGowda@DKSureshINC I'd think B'luru has non-negligible # of ppl who recvd vax outside India. Option to upload foreign vax certs to Cowin and get Cowin based cert will be very useful ๐ Pls raise this in Lok Sabha ๐
@MoHFW_INDIA cc:@mla_sudhakar Karnataka government has issued guidelines requiring 2 vaccine doses for many day-to-day activities like visiting apartment complexes, malls, children's schools etc. (1/3)
