Instead of stenciling scooter parking on sidewalks get a shipping container, saw off the sides, paint it cool colors, and put it in an on-street parking space. Here’s one I saw in Cleveland. (Maybe one can add solar panels on the roof to charge the scooters too) 🤔

Using mostly empty cars for nearly every trip is probably the most dangerous and energy intensive transportation system we could possibly devise.
Then when a relatively safe and efficient alternative -- scooters -- comes along, our first instinct is to wonder "is it safe?"
