The sales volume of the @LumiterraGame marketplace reached 372K $RON. This proves that you don’t need 100k+ users to achieve a high volume of trades.
To balance supply and demand and make trading more enjoyable, here's what they did: 👇
1️⃣ Make your game engaging/fun at all levels and stages, not just in the mid and late game.
2️⃣ The game isn’t designed solely to level up your character; it’s meant to include gathering materials, crafting, and participating in the trading market.
You can act as a merchant or blacksmith here instead of focusing on fighting monsters or players.
3️⃣ Acquiring items isn’t easy/unlimited due to their low drop rate and energy-based system.
4️⃣ The higher your level, the more token rewards you can earn (Tasks). However, obtaining top-tier items is challenging because crafting high-level items relies on gathering lower-level materials.
This means that players who casually play at stages 1 to 3 to acquire materials are crucial to the ecosystem. For example, to craft 1pc level-5 item, you need 48pcs of level-1 essence and additional materials from levels 2 to 4 to complete the crafting ingredients.
A user wanting to acquire high-tier items has 2 options: either grind for them over 1-2 months or buy materials from the secondary marketplace.
The game is not yet polished and has a lot of room to expand content. However, the energy, drop rate, crafting structure, and rewards (on top) are all aligned with the economic system.
