operating costs dropped 87%, output quality dropped 4% on average, revenue unchanged
the most important that these models will be not banned in a month and i can run them locally
nobody will steal my data and i can learn them as i need
full article drops tomorrow with:
> exact routing logic per task type
> the 2 cases where I still pay for American
> the migration playbook anyone can copy in a weekend
VERY IMPORTANT to get migrated now, while it's not too late
@Ric_RTP That’s a good news. U.S. government and AI Providers are mistaken if they think that Europe is in need of U.S. regarding to their tech. Europe can able to build sovereign AI and Cloud products. I believe mobile phones and other technologies should follow similar approach.
@ReciprocitEye@realBigBrainAI The truth is that Linus could have had far more influence, fame, and money if he wanted to. Instead, he helped humanity and technology advance through his open‑source contributions. I don’t think Musk has done anything as noble as Linus.
@clashreport I think German politics need someone new fresh and having strong leadership. Germany needs someone doer rather than complaining chancellor all the time.
Also let's not forget that he was a former chairman of the supervisory board for BlackRock’s German branch from 2016 to 2020.
@Maarten_BNL@E_GuriGashi If we consider current situation, I guess discovering America and sending inmates there to settle wasn’t a good idea after all 🤷♂️
@mjackson Not only that but also AI providers train their models with open source projects and then give no credit back. TBH I would not accept their robots to scan my code for free from now on
@naval The human body is composed of functional parts, and the brain orchestrates all of them. We can think of Agentic AI in a similar fashion: all those SaaS services should move closer to the inference layer. So whole structure shift toward Edge or wherever your inference takes place.
@shiri_shh That’s actually very logical. Services (agents, tools or functions) should be close to the AI environment. These explicit online services are far from the AI environment. They need to develop new products and subscription models in the future. Otherwise they will disappear.
