A new addition to our displays on this #HeritageTreasures Day. This uniform belonged to Joan Fanshawe, one of the 1st WAAFs to be employed in the Dowding System. We welcomed Joan several times before she sadly passed away in 2018. Her uniform has been kindly loaned by her family.
