@PhilOfLife_ I blame their parents ( Iโm the mama of an millennial btw) and in the uk the education system that tested them to death. The poor kids hardly had a school year without having to undergo some form of testing and the absolute focus of getting a place at uni & a high paying job.
How sad on this October day
To see our hedges shorn away
Small creatures would've liked to eat
The hawthorn berries, rose hips sweet,
Blackberries, nuts and sloes,
But through the blades the banquet goes.
Wonโt somebody heed our words
And leave the berries for the birds

@angelofbtc@HasAhmed_ There are people in this country who barely have public transport. Ask anyone who lives in a rural area like Dorsey or Somerset how long the wait for the next day time bus is .
@bullrike@PeteNorth303@PumpkinBorne I just want to hug you and say thank you. What a beautiful articulation of what bad EDI can lead to and how it effects the lives of those who wonโt bend to the dictats of others.
IMHO the who debate would benefit from a great big dollop of empathy and loving kindness.
@Miss_Snuffy@Parallel_Uni@gardnerstuart39 You of all people should be able to recognise abusive behaviour.
What youโre teaching the kids is that itโs ok to bully and those with power and authority always win.
Shame on you.
This country would be a better place if education was based on kindness and compassion.
