My little lexicon writing project is getting a bit long 16,000 words. Spotted a flaw the words I am interested in are very long, the words I am not so much interested in are short. Let's say the Oxford English dictionary people wouldn't employ me 😬

Talking about handwriting if you are doing your A Levels,a tip from one of the nuns who taught me don't write in blue ink most students use blue. Examiners get bored seeing blue ink hour on end marking scripts use black it's a change on the markers eyes and stands out more.

I once had a boss at work we didn't really like each other. He pulled me one day seeing me write an official letter by hand to the home office. He said that's not professional my reply was ah but it will stand out all the other letters will be typed the Home Secretary will notice
