One of the funniest moments at today's GTC Taipei:
Jensen Huang gave a special shoutout to some of Taiwan's most important ecosystem partners:
๐ Fruit Lady โ where he famously signed an autograph in the restroom
๐ฒ Wangโs Tainan Cuisine โ where his parents hold family dinners
๐ฅข Hua Niang Restaurant โ where relatives gather for meals
๐ท Fu Ba Wang Pork Knuckle โ one of Jensen's personal favorites
๐ถ Yao Gu Zao Wei Restaurant โ host of the legendary supplier banquet that probably led to billions of dollars in business
NVIDIA's Taiwan ecosystem runs on GPUs, semiconductors... and great food
@rdotapps Good point.
In fact, I dropped XCLK all the way down to 2 MHz for this test, and the image became noticeably cleaner.
Thereโs still some noise left, but it definitely points toward clock coupling, power integrity, or grounding issues
Camera bring-up day.
Image is noisy as hell :(
Possible suspects:
- insufficient decoupling
- bad PCB routing
- noisy power rail
- XCLK interference
- grounding disaster
Time to hunt the bug...!

Feels like we're in a rare window right now.
The boundaries between hardware and software are fading away, and the opportunity to create something genuinely new for people has never been bigger.
Trying not to waste it.
Introducing the newest Coral board, for efficient, on-device AI!
Check out the demos in the video:
- On-board speech translation
- Natural language controlling hardware
- Vision & sound generating music
camera wouldnโt fit because of a tantalum capacitor
engineering decision:
remove capacitor
to be fair, it was just for brownout protection
the device still boots and the camera works!
