🤔Why does it take weeks for the radiographic evidence of pneumonia to clear?
Patients often feel better DAYS after starting treatment.
And yet the chest x-ray takes WEEKS to return to normal.
Why the delay?
We wrapped the synchornous component of our Fellow-As-Clinician-Educator course today. We reviewed the academic promotion process, gave feedback on our CVs, learned about feedback in the clinical setting, and practiced our #ChalkTalks. Grateful for my co-director @ericalinMD!
Another successful San Diego Lung Ladies event, with the goal of empowering our PCCM female fellows with tools to navigate fellowship & career planning. Brilliant & talented women! #ucsdpccm
