@PhilippaWrites Fair play to them, time will tell. I do think if people have no experience of disability it can be a genuine lack of insight...as well as a very valuable sales tool of course, fear always is.

What was your most read childhood book/s?

Mine are the James Herriot series. I read them when I was about 10/11 I think.

I could open them now at any page, read a few sentences and know what's going on.

They'd be my ultimate comfort/no-thinking go-to book.

I love having friends who when hearing about the dire weather forecast for our upcoming caravan adventure, replies with a simple, 'Well, we'll just take an extra book. It'll be great.'

That's the epitome of the 'found my people' trope. Made me smile. :)
