@pidgeonholes @alana_fc_ Wow, terrific story! I especially liked how “smallness” could be interpreted as shrinking, but also as society’s obsession with women being thin, and lastly, a woman who is quiet/obedient “small”- this story makes a statement, for sure.

@TommyDeanWriter Yes! I would be interested. 2nd POV seems to be the most avoided or neglected POV but can be really powerful, when executed well.

@SabCarterWrites It may sound like total madness, but I’m currently working on a collection of short stories, 1 memoir, 1 novel, and a collab. screenplay with my father. I also focus on creating new flash fiction and poetry as often as possible.

@Aaron__Burch The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman and The Care and Feeding of House Plants by @ArtTaylorWriter -two very different short stories but brilliantly written. Trust your students to be able to navigate their complexity and depth. These are two stories that stuck with me
