@MillennialWoes When i was trying to follow it was more difficult than it should be to find your account. There wasnt an immediate drop down in the search bar, it was showing literal nobodies and i had to do a full search window.
@MikeCarlton01 Imagine being told you're not the best person for the job, just the best woman for the job. There's plenty of women in politics I have a lot of respect for, they got their on their own merits, not because a quota put them there.
@FreedmFightr1 I think these people just see surface level information and believe it. They don't see the broader point, that if/when subsidies are removed and major repairs occur on storage and VREs, the cost per Kwh will skyrocket. Which would be fine if they didn't intend to remove all coal.
@diallingtone@janrosenow There's a factor to remember with that. Those people will not be paying into the broader eletricity grid as much, like long range transmission and substations. So everyone else's bills will go up.
@RandPaul Rand Paul is easily the most misunderstood politician. He out here standing on principles, then everyone thinks he's in it for himself. Poor guy.
@JC47053522@DryFarmer24@EVCurveFuturist Buddy, you're taking the piss. We discussed the subsidies affecting wholesale costs just hours ago. This is your silver bullet? Good night mate. One day when the grid collapses, or once they open coal plants en masse, I hope you'll realise you played a part in this mess.
@JC47053522@DryFarmer24@EVCurveFuturist You arent having a discussion, you're just trying to be right. You have to bring in your "measuring stick" on a simple statement because you are losing ground once you don't have an argument against wind maintenance costs.
@JC47053522@DryFarmer24@EVCurveFuturist Yes, but i didn't compare the pair. You did. You are always on this crusade. The point was youd hand waved shutting down turbines from excess maintenance costs, and i simply said its not cheap to decom them. Then you have to bring in a coal decom to get points.
@JC47053522@DryFarmer24@EVCurveFuturist You're literally reading each post I make and responding to it in vacuum. You're not actually understanding what I'm saying as a whole.
@JC47053522@DryFarmer24@EVCurveFuturist Again. The broader point is being missed. You can't seem to actually string my posts together into a cohesive idea. You're just attacking each point with tired talking points instead of seeing a broader discussion.
@JC47053522@DryFarmer24@EVCurveFuturist As far as i can tell, they were contracted by the company that had half equity to actually run the operation. That's what i meant. They were just the paypig, i have no evidence telling me they were involved in day to day operations. Given they ran other ones, it's likely they did
@JC47053522@DryFarmer24@EVCurveFuturist Even if we take your coal decom at face value, because i cbf doing the closer look, if im paying more to maintain it before decom it's irrelevant. But im sure you'll pull some wall of text out of your ass and another report you barely analysed.
