@QuinnyPig Once thing I’ve seen in market is pharmacy networks choosing Azure for their infrastructure because Amazon is a direct competitor. Maybe this move will result in payers and providers taking a look at their AWS deployments with a more critical eye.

@QuinnyPig Amazon has access to PHI both as a business associate through AWS and as a covered entity through Amazon Pharmacy. Their HIPAA compliance obligations regarding use of PHI haven’t changed. If patient disclosures at point of care reflect a change, then I might share your concerns.

@mnolangray I'd add that historically in the 19th and early 20th centuries Delaware and New York were in a race to the bottom for business-favorable corporate law specifically to benefit railroads and later oil companies and Delaware won out.
