@PamParitta@LifeIndiscreet “TX will fix TX.”
Will it, though? We shall see, I guess. And if they don’t? How long do they get to fix it? Forever? What about when the majority of TX citizens (or any other state) don’t agree with the “fix” arranged by elected officials in the pocket of the base and lobbies?
@laurenboebert Embarrassing, refuted straw man. Nobody is putting anything in the floor to legislate away evil. Just make it harder for the evil people to have certain weapons and use them against school kids, church goers and grocery shoppers. But I guess that’s against your values. CCW FTW?
“Now is the time to stop the next shooting ... In each case we say this isn’t the time. Now is the time — like, literally right now. That’s why I’m here.”
— Texas gubernatorial candidate @BetoORourke on Gov. Greg Abbott saying now is not the time to politicize a shooting
@seaside1776@warriors Thx for the straw man insight. Nobody, literally *nobody* in their right mind is saying a law will "stop mass killings." I'll take "reduce" mass killings any day of the week. Progress can never be made on anything if we say "we won't do anything because we can't do everything."
I’m getting a lot more spam texts that are trying to get me to click on sketchy links. Blocking and not clicking. Is this increase Russia hacking related?
@blairenns I also tested positive a week after my first positive test last month, even though I was feeling better (though minor lingering cough even weeks later)
View from northwest Broomfield as the sun sets. Ash is falling, strong smell of smoke. About 500 homes in Superior are completely lost. Entirely neighborhoods + a Target. #marshallfire#broomfield
