The fact that @carmax would sell a car with a known and documented issue - and then refuse to repair the issue because of warranty loopholes is just wrong. Speaks volumes about customer care when@GMC, local dealer and CarMax all refuse to stand behind the car they made/sold.
Disappointed doesn’t begin to cover it.
My 2021 GMC Yukon was diagnosed with a disconnected sunroof drain tube (no prior work ever done), a leaking sunroof frame, and mold under the carpet as a result.
I am a disabled veteran. Despite documented findings, @GMC, @CarMax, MaxCare (serviced by CNA National), and @AlfredMatthews have all declined to help — with the dealership refusing to even submit a goodwill request because I didn’t purchase the vehicle there.
Health & safety shouldn’t depend on where a car was bought or which warranty loophole is used.
To paraphrase FDR: Judge us and our reporters (like @Skinny_Post ) by the enemies we make.
I am perfectly comfortable - quite pleased, actually - making enemies of racist, anti-Semitic, bigots.
Antisemites now impersonating me at city council meetings. As E-40 said, "I'm all they heads." Would only add how cool it is that in Elon's hellscape version of this platform, a post like that one draws a pack of commenting bigots. Nazis, you will lose again.

When public agencies restrict access to journalists, they are restricting access from every voter, taxpayer and every resident. What are they trying to hide?

A fun read from @NorthBayNews reporter @JenInOz about a Petaluma woman making waves in a traditionally male-dominated seafood industry. Bonus points for a creative URL string..

“California law is very clear about the role journalists play in this state and the access we’re to have in covering events like this walkout. Barring us from campus is not an option.” Now is the time for greater transparency by all school leaders across the county.
In the wake of a fatal on-campus stabbing in Santa Rosa last week, journalists were prevented by school officials from covering student-led demonstrations on the Petaluma and Casa Grande high school campuses Wednesday.

“Since the tragedy at Montgomery High School, our entire Sonoma County community — students, teachers, families, administrators and residents — has been hurting, and we’ve been very thoughtful how we’ve covered both the incident and its dramatic aftermath,” @EditorRAG said.
A terrible day at Santa Rosa's Montgomery High yesterday; a student fight leaves one dead, one injured and one in custody. Continuing coverage @NorthBayNews and https://t.co/YJolcFjm1k

one of my favorite sounds ever is the sound of a crisp new newspaper being read over breakfast for an hour or so… The popping out of it, the folding, the scribbling on the crossword… I hope it never goes out of fashion in our digital world. It is too romantic. 🗞️♥️
