As a huge soccer fan growing up, going to see more TFC games at BMO Field than I can count, and watching almost every World Cup game on this very TV, I was always in awe of the power of the World Cup.
I did not realize how profound an effect it would have on me hearing our national anthem play as our team plays on home soil.
I may never experience living in the country where the World Cup is hosted again in my life, so I’m really soaking this in.
Let’s go #Canada
A bit of an update: I consider myself very lucky to have landed at such a great firm. Working as a Senior Consultant on the EnterpriseHealth team has been a very rewarding experience.
I have an extremely smart, supportive, and genuinely fun team across @EntCanada, @findcurrency and EnterpriseHealth, and I'm grateful for all the guidance they've given me.
With such a great culture, these folks make it easy to enjoy the work and learn a lot along the way. This group puts out some of the most creative, innovative and high-quality work in the industry, and I'm proud to be a part of it.
I’m enjoying the opportunity to support meaningful work in the health care, government relations and communications space in Ontario and across Canada and I'm looking forward to growing my career here.
We're pleased to welcome Eric Osborne as Senior Consultant, EnterpriseHealth in Toronto!
Eric's experience at Queen’s Park, health care expertise and strong understanding of how issues move through government will help clients navigate an increasingly complex and fast-moving policy environment.

Welcome to the team, Eric!
Congratulations to @AHSANULHAFIZ2
He’ll be a great candidate and I’m going to help make him an @OntLiberal MPP - and so should you.
But I’m going to do something I never do - get some pent up feelings out, as a young person who’s worked his ass off for this party since 2019 and seen nothing but losses:
First: 19 votes is a gut punch to the folks who I know worked SO hard on @NateForOntario’s campaign. You knew the risk, and I commend you for the work and dedication you put in.
Whether you supported him or not, when @NateForOntario took the leap and said “I’m in, I’m doing this” in SSW, I was happy that finally, somebody that said they wanted to lead this party, was actually decisive and tried rocking the boat. As a young person, I am so tired of watching the refusal to be creative in this party and the fear of out thinking outside the box because “this is how it’s done”. No matter what you did in the past, this party hasn’t been a winner in 12 years.
That being said, everyone has the right to run where they want to represent, and I’m happy we had so many people jump in…
…but for the love of god people, grow up and start supporting each other. I am so sick of the petty infighting and immature mud slinging.
I have been so deeply embarrassed by the way “supporters” of this party have acted over the last couple of months - people from every campaign, and in every camp. I’m tired of the Twitter warriors and the faultfinders who continue to tear us apart from the inside. I’m seeing adults act like children online… and for a party that needs to attract more youth? What young person would want to sign up when these are the people we have to inspire them and to pass the torch??
This party will continue to fail while we bitch and complain at each other on Twitter and the other parties will sit and laugh while we tear ourselves apart.
Grow up, get serious and let’s be winners for once - because right now we’re all acting like losers.

Hafiz beat Erskine-Smith on a third ballot by nineteen votes.
718: Hafiz.
699: Erskine-Smith.
Erskine-Smith’s supporters are gathered outside the atrium, where he’s expected to speak with reporters.
Queen’s Park sits for another 20 days, that means that the @OntLiberal Party has ~ 240 more chances to question the Government…
…so there better be at least 240 questions about this private jet and this alone #onpoli

One of the best and most conservative things Doug Ford ever did was replacing Dalton McGuinty's modernized "three men in a hot tub" logo with a return to the old trillium, basically unchanged from 1964.

WATCH - WATCH - “I’m the only Premier in history that refuses to use the Premiers plane” said Premier Ford in the legislature on February 27, 2019. “I prefer to drive around and talk to the people about things that matter”
NEW: The Ford government is getting poor grades on a number of priority issues according to a new Ipsos poll, which most say PCs are doing a 'poor' or 'very poor' job on healthcare, education, affordability, the economy and housing.

I am honoured to welcome Matt Jeneroux to our caucus as the newest member of Canada’s new government.
Building a stronger, more resilient, and more independent country will require ambition, collaboration, and occasionally, sacrifice. I am grateful to Matt and his family that he will continue his service as a strong voice for Edmonton Riverbend in Parliament.
For more than a decade, Matt has been entrusted by Albertans to help shape a stronger future. He was first elected to Alberta’s Legislature in 2012 and to Canada’s Parliament in 2015 — earning four consecutive mandates in the House of Commons.
In Ottawa, he has taken on portfolios that are central to Canada’s economic strength, security, and national resilience — including as Shadow Minister for supply chains, innovation, infrastructure, health, and housing.
He is a strong voice in international engagement and parliamentary diplomacy, having served as Vice-Chair of the Canada-UK Interparliamentary Association and Founder of the Canada-ASEAN Parliamentary Group, and building direct working relationships with lawmakers across NATO, Europe, Asia, Africa, the United States and the OSCE.
As a new special advisor on economic and security partnerships, Matt’s leadership will contribute to strengthening Canada’s alliances and trade partnerships, advancing Canada’s leadership in global security cooperation, and building our strength at home.
The world has changed, and Canada must change with it. This is a time to come together — and together, we will build a stronger future for Edmonton, Alberta, and all Canadians.
