🚨Matheus Cunha probably won’t get the headlines today, but he deserves HUGE credit for that performance. 👏🇧🇷
Basically played the false 9 role perfectly — constantly dropping in to get on the ball, turning under pressure, escaping tight spaces and linking everything together in attack.
So intelligent with his movement and always trying to make something happen. Cunha was EXCELLENT today. 🌟
This video poses a debate:
Is Bruno's style conjucive to winning titles?
Is the number 10 role about getting numbers for oneself or making the team play better?
@markgoldbridge, if you can please ask Wayne the question as well, that would be so beneficial given that he played behind the striker.

🚨🎙️ Eric Cantona on Jack and Tyler Fletcher:
🗣️ “Maybe it’s just me, but I still haven’t seen enough from Jack and Tyler Fletcher to convince me that they’re ready for Manchester United’s first team.
I know they have potential, but I honestly think both of them would benefit from playing regular football away from the pressure and expectations of Old Trafford.
With all due respect to their father, I still don’t see enough in their game right now to say they should be ahead of young players like JJ Gabriel or Jim Thwaites.
Sometimes the best thing for talented youngsters is to step away, play every week, make mistakes, learn from them and develop without the constant pressure of Manchester United.
A loan move to the Championship could give the Fletcher twins exactly the experience they need.
I’m not saying they can’t become very good players. They have time on their side.
But right now, they still have a lot to prove before they can be considered ready for Manchester United.”
🔴 Manchester United in search of a left-footed attacking midfielder
According to sources, Michael Carrick is prioritising the signing of a quality left-footed attacking midfielder this summer.
Carrick, who played alongside Juan Mata a highly decisive left-footed attacking midfielder during their time together is looking for a similar profile and creativity in the final third.
Lee Kang-in (Paris Saint-Germain) and Ritsu Doan (Eintracht Frankfurt) are among the names on his list. Both players are technically gifted, very decisive in the final third, and capable of delivering goals and key assists.
These signings would help ease Bruno Fernandes’ workload and could be used in rotation in some matches.
Who would you rather see at Old Trafford Lee Kang-in or Ritsu Doan as the next left-footed attacking midfielder?

🚨🗣 Troy Deeney on Manchester United under Michael Carrick:
"I still don't know what their style of play is, are they an aggressive front foot team, are they a low block sit back team, i don't know because each week they're changing."
"Their performances have not been great, they've had good performances against Arsenal, City, but they haven't had solid performances"
"We've seen this before from the club with Ole Gunnar Solskjær, he gets everybody up, I think Ole finished second. Then you give him the job, 18 months later you sack him because he's not the person to take you forward"
"What's the difference with Carrick, i don't know, and I don't think anyone does"

🚨 Steven Gerrard on Joshua Zirkzee:
🗣️ “I believe every Manchester United fan should want him to stay and get his chance. What he needs right now is game time and confidence — nothing more.
The kid has real talent, you can see it in how he links play, how calm he is on the ball. Not every forward hits the ground running. Look at Didier Drogba or even Karim Benzema early on — they had difficult periods but became world-class.
United have to be patient. If you give him time, he will show his potential, no doubt about that.
And honestly, when I look at some of the forwards at Arsenal F.C., Zirkzee offers something different — more presence, more link-up, more intelligence. That’s why I think he can be even more effective in the long run.”
