Suffering is subordinate. It’s very real, but encompassed by the generative love at the center of all things.
This doesn’t eliminate the hurt, it asks us to face it fully.

Could see your point if that energy unmasks truth but there are certainly layers of reflection needed to get there.
@coachnateb I read him as also reaching out to participants in power (Pharisees, tax collectors, etc). It often didn’t work, but the invitation was to healing first in the face of oppression. Your second paragraph is gold.
