If your developer focused product is a private, non self hostable, paid API with open source API SDKs, please don't market yourself as an "open-source" product/company. Just stop doing that.
The top chat gpt use case for me is to ask all the random silly questions that pass through my mind every day, like "what problem do revolving doors solve?"
Switzerland seems like an AI generated country: "whimsical, charming place where towering, snow-capped mountains sharply contrast with lush green valleys. Picturesque villages with traditional, wooden homes. Nice, rich people eating delicious cheese and chocolate"
This is absolutely priceless. And probably the most frightening clip you'll ever watch on the people in charge of the US economy.
Jared Bernstein is literally the Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers, the main agency advising Biden on economic policy
I feel like programming is ~60% developing the right mental model, ~40% debugging and testing, and <1% writing code. At least when you're solving a novel problem.
@wcathcart@WhatsApp That's super cool! Will you support generic "web extensions" as Messenger? Or will this richer experiences be limited to certain use cases? We're currently creating rich conversational apps on WhatsApp (https://t.co/m2QIzVvAjF) and a native webview would be awesome.

I wonder if this will generate a vicious circle (better AI suggestions for X > more projects using X > more content/examples about X > better AI suggestions...) and the "extinction" of unpopular (albeit better) technologies
ChatGPT has introduced a new variable to consider when choosing technologies for a new project: how accurate the AI suggestions for that language/framework are.
In this regard, it seems reasonable to opt for popular technologies with more examples out there...
