A huge chunk of people who are drawn to meditation because of suffering could actually vastly decrease their suffering by engaging skillfully with the content of awareness rather than trying to 'note' it, or see its emptiness, or whatever other spiritual lever-pulls exist
@RogerThisdell@nosilverv 100%. The Aletheia Parts Work stuff felt like truly embodying important aspects of the View that were previously inaccessible to me - and opened up a field of exploration that I had previously not realized was so fertile
One of the best parts of twitter is actually getting to interact with other people who have specific niches of interest and expertise. Be a reply guy - learn and expand.
I miss the part of twitter / human interactions more generally that used to be "you ask a question about something you're curious about, and other people try to answer it." It used to feel communal, but now it just feels vaguely impolite, like you should be asking an AI instead.
Meditation is great and all - many of my tweets are to address what I see as an imbalance in the importance given to 'nature of awareness' vs. 'contents of awareness' in The Discourse. e.g. "just get 'jhana'" or "just realize nature of mind" etc. You are still a person.

My favorite take on anatta is 'the autonomous nature of the mind' - shoutout to Stephen Procter. 'No-self' should be temporarily retired, until Westerners can figure out how to stably achieve a Good, Healthy Sense of Self.
Finally getting around to watching the Rehearsal in order to understand a little bit about Nathan Fielder before watching the documentary... I don't think I've ever said "What the fuck?!?" so many times during a single episode of television.
