The more I rewatch Obsession, the more tragic Nikki becomes.

That poem wasn't random, it felt like her desperately trying to tell Bear their "love" only existed because of the Wish Willow.

Then Bear avoids making eye contact, almost like he already knows she's right but refuses to face it.

By the time Nikki is smashing herself to fight the entity, it's clear she never stopped trying to break free.

She was trapped in her own body while everyone else was focused on Bear.
