We urgently need to get answers for Sophie, who I was lucky to meet a couple of weeks back. She is another incredible child that has been so badly failed by the Scoliosis Services in CHI.

For years she has been left in pain, her life on hold. But she keeps on fighting & smiling.

If you are on the fence about coming tomorrow, if you don’t know if you want to forfeit your Saturday afternoon and face Dublin City centre tomorrow, if you care but not enough to *know* you’re definitely coming..please come. Not for me, but for Harvey. Harvey went through a lot that he didn’t want to do. He gave up a lot for things that weren’t fun. He missed so much of his childhood. One Saturday afternoon is all we ask of you. For Harvey, for all the other kids waiting and for your own children. Nobody expects to have a child that depends on the health system in such a substantial way but it could be any one of us and it can come at any given time. If we have been taught anything by Harvey’s passing it’s that you never know what is lurking around the corner. We went from planning a family holiday, to planning a funeral within a matter of days.
