If AI could build interactive entertainment products for you, what would you want to play? 🎮
I'll read your replies and let my OpenClaw automatically build them for you!

I've been thinking about AI products recently, and while the major labs (OpenAI, GDM, Anthropic) are competing on productivity assistants, character is clearly going in a different direction.
Thinking from first principles, human beings have a few fundamental desires: not being sick, staying out of jail, not being hungry, not being lonely, etc. Very lucrative industries have developed around these desires---medicine, law, restaurants, p*rn, etc.
But there is currently no big industry around emotional connection. And it seems likely that society is moving towards such an industry being compelling, given increased rates of loneliness, people getting married later, etc.
Character seems to be breaking through into this, with reported average session times of 2+ hours, and reaching the top of the app store, on par with netflix. I'm really curious about two things:
1. Who are the users of https://t.co/CI9hYcPkd5? I don't personally know anyone who uses it (but obviously the people I know personally is a very biased slice of the world).
2. What are the use cases of https://t.co/CI9hYcPkd5? An obvious first guess is erotic content, but I'm not sure that's true; I tried to get it to generate erotic content but it gave similar refusals to the other chatbots. I kinda get the anime / fanfic use cases, but I also feel like that doesn't explain all of it.
Character is obviously getting something right---they have one of the strongest engineering teams around and massive product usage. It doesn't feel impossible that in a few decades, emotional connection will be one of the top 100 industries in the world. Perhaps the rest of us are missing something. Would love to hear people's takes.
Sam Altman dropped out of college at 20
He had no money, job or connections
But he went on to become the CEO of a unicorn company

And is now a leader in the AI world
How well do you know the man who changed our lives?
Here's his story🧵
🚨 NEW TRAILER for ‘Geppetto’s Workshop’ a 3DAI MMO PC game! 🚨
Powered by our COLLODI-1 model.
We had a great chat with the brilliant Tejas of @CSM_ai and he spoke of the ‘game engine model of the mind’.
So exciting to think about the shift away from text-image-video (the detritus of the 2D internet) to … LIFE!
Life in its full 3D glory!
Life is NOT text-image-video. Research just focused on those areas bc the internet was filled with it.
Life isn’t 2D, it can be touched, interacted with, navigated!
We love being part of the growing real-time 3DAI community of new startups, investors and researchers like @CSM_ai@bifrost_ai@3dfyAi@mattdeitke (Objaverse) @vcheng11@JackSoslow@OpenAI (SHAPE-E researchers) & @DrJimFan (Jim Fan bc it’s not enough for AI to simply generate real-time 3D objects/worlds, AI must be able to interpret, navigate and take agent actions within it!)
Text-image-video has hitherto only interpreted the world, in various ways. The point with 3D, however, is to change it!

4.5 years ago when we said "AI is the next great artform." it didn't make sense to people!
We at Fable have been working to bring together the communities of games/movies/creative technologists and the AI community for 5 years. We love it!
It is SO IMPORTANT for these two communities to understand each other, and for the games/movies/creative technologists not simply to see ourselves as recipients of what pure AI companies 'give' us - we can become the leaders in AI !
We have felt in the games/movie/creative tech community a dramatic loss of confidence in the last year, about the rise of AI - a fear that the age of Hollywood and games is passing - for the age of the pure AI company.
Ridiculous!
Perhaps the time of pure AI companies is passing, and the time of applied AI companies, built by games/movie/creative technologists is coming.
After all, we can all see that the underlying tech and data pure AI companies have provided/controlled is becoming commoditized and open sourced.
Tech often overplays it's hand when it comes to games/movies/creative technologists - after all, AOL acquired Warner Brothers - and Warners ate AOL's money up happily.
("A decade ago, America Online merged with Time Warner in a deal valued at a stunning $350 billion. It was then, and is now, the largest merger in American business history. The Internet, it was believed, was soon to vaporize mainstream media business models on the spot" NYT)
Applied AI from creative tech companies could well be where value lies!
Don't lose confidence - Hollywood could use AI to remain the centre for film and TV for the next century.
Games could use AI to power radical new experiences!
After all, the pure AI companies are working on AI to build
- interactive synthetic reality characters
- game-like simulations
- digital art creation for artists
- animation for filmmakers
Doesn't that sound like territory the games/movie/creative technologist community understand best, let's take the pure AI companies' tech, advance our own artistic goals and build better tech!
The leading 3D tech researcher in the 70s left academia to build PIxar after all!
The pure AI community is giving us a great start - but we can be practitioners and leaders bringing our own understandings of tech and art to the rapidly commoditizing early creative AI tools they have provided - and take things forward!
LET'S BUILD!
