Been playing around with chopped tails - this is what it looks like when you go too small for conditions. I love this tail in smaller surf but this is 6ft at 9 sec. The forward pitching force is making me keep 100% of my weight on my back foot which makes it very hard to turn

Just figured out how to pump the @MFCHAWAII hydros. Much more front footed than anything I’ve felt. More like you’re surfing it through the pumps instead of bouncing on it.
