When Republicans tell you who they are, believe them. "Exceptions" and "moderate" bans and toned down language are all bullshit. Women are incubators to them and nothing more. They'd rather let you die then get an abortion. #Roevember2024
BREAKING: Kate Cox, the Texas woman who sued the state to beg for abortion following a dangerous diagnosis, has fled the state for care.
Nancy Northup of @reprorights who are representing Cox says she’s "been in and out of the emergency room and she couldn’t wait any longer.”
🚨 BREAKING: Trump Ally Bari Weiss set to take over CNN after Paramount-Warner Bros merger is complete.
Bari Weiss currently leads CBS, and is expected to serve as lead for both media organizations in the future.
CNN = Owned by a right-wing billionaire.
CBS = Owned by a right-wing billionaire.
FOX = Owned by a right-wing billionaire.
WaPo = Owned by a right-wing billionaire.
WSJ = Owned by a right-wing billionaire.
Ah yes, tell me more about how the mainstream media is “far left.”
In 2024, Kamala Harris got 70% of the vote in L.A., and Trump got 26%. In this year's mayoral election, the two top Democratic candidates got 63% and the Republican candidate got 26%. That's as ordinary and unsurprising a result as you could imagine.
There's nothing about this election that suggests fraud. The fact that candidates' vote shares rose and fell as more votes were counted is not only not improbable, it's expected. People suggesting otherwise are innumerate.
A group of lawmakers demanded answers from the White House this week following a ProPublica investigation revealing that a top aide to the president initiated a $620 million loan from the Pentagon to a startup linked to Donald Trump Jr.

“A mythomaniac is a clinical and literary term for an extreme pathological liar. It describes someone whose lies are grand, deeply embedded in their identity, and told with complete, unbenched confidence.”
This is the type of crisis that a Democratic president would be held personally responsible for by the media. Instead it’s getting virtually no national attention despite the issue being directly connected to federal cuts enacted by the Trump administration
We are ten years into allegations of widespread election fraud - only for elections Trump or republicans lose, mind you - for which Trump and allies have either not produced evidence, or claimed evidence which was subsequently debunked. And blatant contradictions - such as celebrating wins under the same laws and practices while confidently declaring theft for any losses - are now the norm.
Trump’s egregious (repeat) lie about Jan. 6 in the new NBC interview he walked out of: “They had FBI agents ushering them into the building. They had FBI: ‘Go into the building.’”
There’s precisely no evidence this happened. DOJ’s inspector general found that the FBI had zero undercover agents in the Capitol crowd. Kash Patel has himself debunked a Trump-promoted conspiracy theory on this subject, saying FBI agents were merely deployed to do crowd control after the police declared a riot.
And of the dozens of Jan. 6 defendants who tried a “the cops let me in” defense, just one (1) was acquitted. Even in that case, the acquitting judge said that though the defendant reasonably believed he was being allowed in, the officers in question were actually overrun by the crowd and standing back reasonably and responsibly, not explicitly encouraging anyone to enter. (And they weren’t FBI.)
Per what I said earlier: Trump has never been that popular and is historically unpopular now. The media doesn’t cover him that way though, so it feels surprising when the public gives us a glimpse of that reality.
Republicans will never accept a nationwide election loss again.
Doesn’t matter if you get rid of mail voting, doesn’t matter if everyone has ID. The goalposts will always move.
They have Pavlov’d themselves into believing they cannot lose a fair election.
The theory here is that election officials working for the incumbent LA mayor rigged the election to ensure a general election opponent that has a chance to beat her? A strange conspiracy
Actually apart from Trump’s health, the story that really made me convinced media outlets are silencing themselves was the Homan bribery story. The guy was literally caught on FBI hidden camera taking $50k in a Cava bag. Should be catnip for DC journalists! Barely covered.
"Schiltz wrote in a new order that he filed Thursday that he then asked his judges and law clerks to review the numbers. While he said they discovered some mistakes, which cut both ways, they concluded that ICE violated 97 orders in 66 of the cases referred to in his earlier order....
The chief judge also attached a list that documented 113 additional order violations in 77 additional cases, mostly since the original tally."

Republican-appointed judge: “The Court is not aware of another occasion in the history of the United States in which a federal court has had to threaten contempt — again and again and again — to force the United States government to comply with court orders.”
This is a devastating interview.
Scott Pelley tells the NYT that Bari Weiss directly put a “thumb on the scale” for Trump over the killing of Renee Good.
Here’s his explanation of exactly what happened.
