Week one is in the books! I am teaching F2F and virtual 5 days a week and I’m not going to lie! It’s been hard, it’s been fun, its been exciting, it’s been exhausting mentally and physically but at the end of the day I can say I still love my job. @OconeeSC_school
Between @IAmStuartHall and @RickWarren I have heard two great messages that are spot on for my life at this moment. #trust@AndyStanley and @dailyhope thanks for helping me get through these times. Can’t wait to finish both of the messages
Your questions about the fall...
Your fears about the fall....
Your concerns about the fall...
Are valid.
And can co-exist alongisde
Your compassion for your students...
Your want to be with them at school again....
Your worries about what’s going on at their home...
@Whit1224 @NicholasFerroni I totally understand. It has taken a toll on me emotionally. I mentioned earlier in the feed that I have chose to homeschool my own children bc they need consistency and will continue to teach because of income and insurance.
On the other side of an epic fail can be equally epic beauty and authenticity, which can only be born out of understanding our desperate need for love, grace, and help.
@Whit1224 @NicholasFerroni The stress level is over the top for teachers! At this point teachers should have a voice but are silenced because the fear of losing their jobs.
