IMPORTANT: This ranks a bunch of ways we get around cities, using average carbon emissions by transport type in grams per pkm. It breaks emissions down by operation, manufacture etc.
Feet & bikes win. Lots of ways beat electric cars, & everything beats gas cars.

@twostraws Hi Paul, congratulations this looks like a fantastic achievement and valuable for the community. One question:
Currently it says for team licences of 3+ you get access to the books immediately rather than after 18 months. Will the same apply for your new Career Accelerator?
Hey @github, looking at your own repo for gitignore, there are almost 500 open PRs.
For Swift, the default gitignore file was last updated 5 years ago. It doesn’t include some basic things that have to be added every time.
Any chance someone could give the repo some love?

@jacobs_handle If your TRV is not working they are easy to replace.
They are misunderstood though.
Your heating has to be on for them to allow hot water to the radiator, otherwise nothing happens.
If the radiator is too small and therefore it is on all the time, turning it up won’t help.
Imagine a tech conference having no CFP, as they reach out to speakers directly. They successfully attract some of the most heavy hitter men speakers in tech, and 3 women speakers.
Now imagine my surprise that 2 of those women are FAKE profiles.
They do not exist.
Nada.
@rsgnl The real insight here is that Apple are differentiating by CPU cores as well as GPU cores on the M3. It makes sense they did this at some point, whenever this change occurred it was going to result in some generation to generation oddities.
In isolation M3 series makes sense.
@mikaela__caron@twostraws@swiftovercoffee Problem solving. And that isn’t just blasting through 6 coffees on something sitting at the keyboard. It is thinking around a problem; sometimes the best solutions aren’t technical or perhaps non-obvious.

My out there prediction for this evening? A new AppleTV with the A17 Pro for `Scary Fast` console like (ish… that’s what they’ll say) gaming on your big screen.
It’s out there and probably more likely than not I’ll be wrong. But that’s my stab in the dark.
@twostraws Thanks. A single solitary emoji that I think I used when experimenting with the feature. Otherwise just loads of empty space. Seems like a bit of a flaw that it looks like this when you’ve only used one or two
@klemensstrasser If I’d known, I’d probably go for a Samsung one and hope they still provide on screen volume. But maybe none of that’s relevant if you don’t have a sound bar :)
@klemensstrasser I recently got an LG OLED and the picture is great. However, there’s one annoying thing about it which is it doesn’t display the volume when changing it via Apple TV if you’ve got a soundbar connected. My previous 10 year old Samsung did that.
