@JimRio6@CT_STATE_POLICE Read the actual studies. Alcohol is the gateway drug MUCH MORE OFTEN. I don't smoke weed myself, but the real research is clear: Distilled spirits lead to coke, etc. Weed leads to munchies.
@CT_STATE_POLICE Read the studies: Weed does not USUALLY lead to harder drugs. Alcohol (itself a drug) leads to harder drugs much more often. Stop the "Reefer Madness". I don't partake myself, but the facts are overwhelming.
@JimRio6@CT_STATE_POLICE It has been proven over the years that weed does not lead to harder drugs. I don't partake, but the studies are clear: Alcohol leads to harder drugs (yes, even though it is legal in all 50 states, alcohol is an addictive drug, and a gateway to other drugs, legal and illegal).
@CroDuctive@scrumtuous Speak up youngster. Please remember that Perl is an interpreted language, not compiled. Perl is a retronym; it is great at what it does. It doesn't pretend to be an all-purpose language. So what do you think is a great "modern" language? (C will kick its ass any day.)
@OfPenrith Loved the Heidelberg press in the 1960s when I was a student at a vocational-technical high school in Hartford, Connecticut, USA! Thank you for the fond memories!
