@mattroberts If you are in the top 1% of earners in Canada (500k) then you would pay 28% in federal tax. So I guess we're getting close to the 30% number going to "one guy".

I don't know how many people who make 500k/year are that fired up about the price of groceries though.

@mattroberts At both the provincial and federal levels the majority of people who voted voted for a different party than the one in charge. Of course most people didn't vote at all.

@jimmurphy I don't think that any of us are really equipped to actually take in all of the facts, weight them appropriately, and best decide on a course of action. Groups or teams provide a stand-in for the things we don't want to/can't decide.
