@TalkingFriars .343 needed remainder of season to get to his ‘25 and career averages of .275 (163 hits needed). 2% chance that happens.
.221 required to get to Mendoza line of .200 (79 hits needed). High probability as a .275 career hitter. Question is this the beginning of the end; decline?
@mark_a_bartlett There’s more to this than just the hitting coach. Not even to the halfway point and this team is apathetic and on the verge of sliding right out of contention, forcing sell off ahead of deadline. How about hot seats for Preller and Stammen. These massive contracts are soured wine
@BrewersWin Real issue—MLB’s guatd contracts reward compl. Too many plyrs grind in cntrct yrs, then coast once paid. Restructure deals w/ lower base salaries, annual raises tied to serv time, & major incentives 4 perfor avail & team success. Many plyrs are traded or cut early. Vicious cycle.

@RodneyHus@InterstellarUAP It’s the single most profound fact that naysayers are so naive to. That’s one helluva NDA to keep 400k hushed for 50+yrs. Not one credible whistleblower that has refuted the landing. And our adversary (Soviet Union), had every reason to debunk, and didn’t.
@fedefrancos@diegodelacurva Let’s put this in simplest at terms: Over 400,000 ppl worked on the Apollo mission. it took 100s of thousands of engineers, scientists, technicians, & support staff to make it happen. That’s one hell of an NDA for over 50yrs. Plus, our adversary (USSR), was never able to debunk.
