What if you could just flip a switch, stop the worrying and start on a cool project, or start doing something that brings you or someone else joy? Play fearlessly, like when you were a child?
Your best life is just behind a series of actions. The nice thing is that you don’t have to even believe in yourself or be in the right headspace. You just have to act.

I try to demystify stress as my body’s way of telling me I will need more energy for [insert stressor]. Anxiety? I will need energy because my body doesn’t know if it will get attacked by a bear or something.
When struggling with an impulse, know there is another version of yourself you can ask to take over. The self that makes a healthy choice, the self that does hard things for a future reward. Sit with the answer, No to poor choices, and Yes to good ones, until you believe it.
Working out today: when it’s hard, don’t focus on the feeling that you don’t want to do the full workout, ask how your target muscles are performing. Are more reps possible? Am I losing form? Versus Should I give myself a break? End early?
Take time to stop what you’re doing and help someone else. It might be your boss, your pet (same as your boss sometimes :p), your spouse or partner, your child, a complete stranger. Stop getting yours for a moment and give.
