Techy. Probably funny. Definitely random.

Dear Apple Watch,

You and I both know I use you to track my sleep. Therefore, you updating tonight on the charger? Bullshit. Can you at least be intelligent enough to just update whenever you happen to be charging?

Sincerely, your annoyed owner.

HUGE SPIDER ALERT!!!

And I’m the one that killed it 🫡😂

Notebooks are useful for something… even when the two men in the office are not 😂

Someone needs to drag my ass to the eye doctor and force me to get glasses. I’ve needed them for years but I’ve just… refused I guess.

But now the eye strain and pain and the neck pain is getting to be too much. I’m an old lady now, help!

Wanna be uncomfortable?

AirPods in. Noise canceling on. No audio playing yet.

And then I turned my head.

Hearing my bones and muscles moving will forever haunt me.

[Erra @errabytes]

@cljwebdev Hell yeah

[Erra @errabytes]

I want to code. I want to be a dev.

But 12 hours in front of screens at work does not motivate me to open my laptop once I get home.

Where the fuck do I find the mental energy to do that? And also, will my eyes ever get used to all the screens??????

[Erra @errabytes]

Everyone, let’s take a minute to remember my cheap winter electric bill…. I plugged in my AC today.

[Erra @errabytes]

I was so excited to see vertical mice (mouses???) at work.

Three days later, I can **finally** double click without clicking in two different spots.

[Erra @errabytes]

I opened my window this morning to the birds singing.

I know it’s just false spring in my area, but there’s hope in the air.

Keep pressing on, my friend. There is a light at the end of the tunnel you’re in.

[Erra @errabytes]

Y’all, my first codewars in forever, my first time writing JavaScript in forever, and I did it right on the first try without looking anything up! Hell yeah!

The brain remembers and knows way more than you think; don’t underestimate yourself!

[Erra @errabytes]

@gibbonsjoey95 Consistency really is key!

[Erra @errabytes]

Only took me 2 weeks 😅 but I finally made a plan for coding this year. How I’m gonna review, what I’m gonna learn (React), and what I’m gonna build with that.

Baby steps, baby steps…

[Erra @errabytes]

@byronsalty Yeah baby!!

[Erra @errabytes]

@QueenAkpan_ Girl, I haven’t seen me in ages either 😂

[Erra @errabytes]

Holy cow it’s been a while! Coding, Twitter (or X, I guess), having a life…. I’m bringing it all back! Starting with this:

git help

[Erra @errabytes]

@byronsalty I’ve never thought about that. That makes so much sense! And glad to hear I’m progressing well into the dev world

[Erra @errabytes]

Found out that SQL is pronounced “s-q-l” or as “sequel”.

Am I the only one that’s been pronouncing it “skew-el”?

[Erra @errabytes]

@_katmlane_ Hopefully! You’re doing great, keep working at those! The more you do, the better you’ll be, and before you know it, you’ll be solving much harder ones 😊

[Erra @errabytes]

Attempted a 5kyu on codewars. Did not go well. Looked at the solutions, and while I can walk through them and understand the code just fine, I don't understand why the solutions work for the problem.

Sometimes it be like that.

[Erra @errabytes]

@CodeHechter Sorry, I thought I responded to this already! I’d be happy to connect!

[Erra @errabytes]

All this new backend knowledge has got me feeling like a superhero 🦸‍♀️
