@pmddomingos That a university professor, an intellectual who is clearly far from unintelligent, would support a vulgar criminal and moron like Trump is quite frankly baffling.
@EricLDaugh Dear Gladstone Gander, where is this irrational animosity toward European allies coming from? Are you simply too stupid to grasp the advantage of the US having allies?
@GuntherEagleman Plase read the NATO Treaty, because it doesn't actually state that one is obligated to help other members when they initiate illegal wars of aggression. NATO is a defense alliance, not an offensive alliance. We Europeans came to the rescue when the US was attacked on 9/11.
@VividProwess Please read the NATO Treaty, because it doesn't actually state that one is obligated to help other members when they initiate illegal wars of aggression. NATO is a defense alliance, not an offensive alliance. We Europeans came to the rescue when the US was attacked on 9/11.
@PepperGator@OJoelsen What is the background for this irrational animosity against Europe from maga people? Is it because European countries do have real and old national cultures, whereas the US is a melting pot of all kinds of superficial "culture"?
@USA_Robyn@SenSanders Why is i that you accept that your President clearly is a Russian spy. All his actions benefit Putin, who is a former KGB officer under the Soviet communism.
@pvillerr@OJoelsen Imagine if the US bribed Greenlanders by paying each of them, for example, 1 million dollars. In that case, society would completely collapse, as no one would have any incentive whatsoever to work.
@pvillerr@OJoelsen The Greenlandic population naturally wants to preserve their culture. To a large extent, they have been able to do so within the Danish Realm. Furthermore, they have access to Scandinavian standards of healthcare and welfare.
@pvillerr@OJoelsen Just look at the indigenous peoples of Alaska or, for that matter, the rest of the United States. Or look at the population of Puerto Rico. The rights of these people compared to those of Americans speak for themselves.
