A video of Serbian family celebrating the feast of St. Nicholas went viral on Instagram, but sadly it’s because many Americans mocked them for having simple food and humble circumstances.
Respect for their faith and resilience. God bless and help this family.

@eastpointpapist@THEORTHOCHAT No friend you're reading the Great Unity prayer wrong, he prayed that all his disciples and the body of believers of the historic and canonical Orthodox Church down the ages be united. Not praying for heretical bodies to be united with the Orthodox Church at the expense of truth.
The Image of Saint Spyridon appeared on a stained glass window.
In the Greek Orthodox Monastery of Saint Spyridon of Trimythous, located in the Christian Quarter of Jerusalem (in the Old City, near the Damascus Gate), an icon of the saint, measuring 70 x 50 cm, half painted at the end of the 19th century and restored about 50 years ago, miraculously appeared on a window on June 2, 1994.
Hieromonk Sofronie, the abbot of the monastery at that time, became seriously ill. He was on the verge of calling his spiritual children to say goodbye.
Then Saint Spyridon suddenly appeared to him and told him that he would not die yet, but would live for a few more years. And with these words, he departed - not through the door, but through the window.
The illness receded, and Hieromonk Sofronie was healed by the saint and served in the monastery for another approximately ten years, until his time came - and he went to the Lord.
Some time after the miraculous visit, Hieromonk Sofronie noticed that the window had darkened. He looked more closely and saw that Saint Spyridon was imprinted on the glass! His face, his vestments - everything was exactly like on the icon.
This impression has remained on the glass. It is now preserved in a special icon case as a great relic. The miraculous icon is framed with dark crimson velvet. The face is best seen when viewed at an angle of about 30 degrees.

@eastpointpapist@THEORTHOCHAT Friend, Roman papacy is a heresy and perversion, if we united with Rome, then it wouldn't be the beautiful faith anymore. The world would change, but for the worse, because the last true Christian faith would be destroyed. Sorry I'm blunt but it's true, research church history!
@PageauJonathan Brother Jonathan, why were you intent on going? I'm sure you're aware that the meeting is ecumenist and heretical activity. It undermines the faith and the ecclesiology of the Orthodox Church. I love a lot content you made in the past and translated some.
St. Dumitru Stăniloae on the difference between how the West views salvation (via created grace and a legal status) & the Orthodox teaching.
This book is a concise explanation of Orthodox Triadology & Christology, being grounded in Love.
In the wild forests of northern Russia, St. Alexander of Svir (1448–1533) shone as a beacon of asceticism. Born Amos, he embraced monastic life at Valaam, then founded the Holy Trinity Monastery after visions of the Theotokos and the Trinity. His incorrupt relics, uncovered in 1641, stream fragrant myrrh and grant healings. Even Bolsheviks’ tests confirmed their miracle - eyes opened in defiance!

Polyester & other toxic synthetic fabrics derived from petroleum, disrupt hormones...causing low estrogen & progesterone in females & low testosterone in males.
Synthetic fibers are known to be a major source of electrostatic potential occurring on clothing. The electrical properties of fibers are determined by their chemical composition & polymer structure.
This human body is electrically charged & the electrostatic qualities of petroleum derived synthetic fabric changes the human body in a negative way.
The author of the dog study, repeated the study in humans. Men wore a polyester sling as underwear daily & after an average of 140 days, all of the study participants stopped producing sperm. This work awarded Dr Ahmed Shafik, MD...a nobel prize in 2016.
5 Top Petroleum Fabrics To Avoid...
1⃣ Polyester is a manufactured synthetic fiber derived from petroleum & sheds microplastics. Polyester contains antimony, a highly toxic substance that has detrimental effects on the heart, lungs, liver & skin.
2⃣ Acrylic can be dangerous because it is made from a flammable, colorless liquid called polymer polyacrylonitrile, which is a known carcinogen.
3⃣ Nylon is one of the most widely used fibers manufactured in the US, Nylon is a synthetic material made from coal & petroleum. Nylon contains heavy metals Arsenic, Chromium, Antimony & Lead.
4⃣ Acetate is a fiber made from wood pulp. It goes through a lot of chemical processing that uses toxic chemicals like acetic anhydride & acetone. Acetate fabrics are treated with formaldehyde resins. This treatment makes the fabrics resistant to wrinkles, but it makes them even more toxic.
5⃣ Spandex, invented in 1959, has made its way to everyone's drawers & closets. Spandex is made from harmful chemical substances like polyurethane, a known carcinogen.
4 Of The Healthiest Fabrics To Wear...
1⃣ Organic cotton is a natural fabric grown without harmful pesticides & fertilizers. It stands out as a comfortable & skin friendly fabric.
2⃣ Linen is made from flax fibers & is well known for being strong. It has a unique texture & breathes well, which means it allows good airflow. It helps keep you cool in hot weather.
3⃣ Wool, sourced from sheep, is a natural insulator, providing warmth in cold climates. It’s naturally water-resistant, odor-resistant & biodegradable.
4⃣ Bamboo fabric comes from the fast-growing bamboo plant. It is great at wicking moisture, so it keeps you cool & dry. It also fights odors because of its natural antimicrobial fabric properties.

I created this video to show the contrast.
I always found it interesting that the doom-scrolling activity with our hand seemed like the antithesis to the recitation of the Jesus Prayer with a prayer rope.
Both acts, small and seemingly inconsequential, could not be more opposite in experience and outcome.
One focuses the mind, the other distracts it.
One clams the passions, the other inflames them.
One centers around a single thought (Jesus), the other on a myriad of thoughts disconnected from each other.
One guides you away from images, the other arrests your vision.
One bears fruit unto eternal life, the other bears fruit unto death.
