@Nyamisa_Chela Yes. Over 44 fishermen were killed by Ethiopia militia. Ethiopia authorities shut the border down preventing recovery. During that period the militia (probably with support from Ethiopia authorities) took the bodies and sunk them in Lake Turkana and took their fishing gear.

We appreciate the support from the Danish Government through the 3yr programme aimed at providing support to the implementation of Refugees Act, 2021, focusing on improving inclusive services in health, education, water and promoting self-reliance of refugees and host community.

This afternoon, I met a team from @denmarkinkenya led by Marie My Larsen- Team Leader, Regional Refugee Humanitarian Team, to discuss the implementation of the Inclusive Refugee Response Programme (IRRP) launched in December 2023.
