Drivers just stare straight ahead. Some even close the gap so nobody else uses it. Meanwhile, the person inside is somebody's mother and the crew is counting minutes. The gap you refuse to make is 15 seconds of your day against a whole life. And if the human argument does not move you, the law might. Ambulances have right of way under the Traffic Act and failing to give it attracts a fine. Move left or even climb the kerb if you must. Just let it through...

So which is it? Do we not move because we do not care or because we assume the siren is fake and it is not a real emergency.

Bus carrying students is hit by a train at Kyetume, Nakisunga, Mukono along the Katosi Road at 6:34am.

IMPACT
One student of Mwebaze High School, Kakiri is KILLED (RIP) and several others INJURED (quick recovery). The students were traveling on the bus to Jinja for a school trip.
