I don't think anyone can really articulate why so many people hate blacks. We've never walked around and hung people from trees or bridges, because of their color.

We've never owned another race. We've didn't even poison Massa. Yet, we are the brunt of hate, violence, racial slurs and police brutality.

Many people see it as just black people out here complaining. Surely, without the advent of video cameras, black accusation would only be accusations. Many people will never feel the affects of racism. On the outside looking in, it's like, "get over it already."

Yet, we sit back and watch as our government, that is supposed to be impartial and fair, trying to erase our history. Trying to create another narrative of Black History. Not wanting their children to feel guilty about the past.

Can anyone tell me why black people are treated with such disdain? Was it that we fought so hard to gain freedom and equal rights? What's the really annoyance? Are we too loud, too demonstrative?

Let me preface this by saying, not all white people feel this way. I'd say the majority don't. Yet, there is a very significantly large number that do.

We can just look back on things like the Tuskegee Experiment, the forced sterilization of black women in the south (1920's - 1950's), the Oklahoma Massacre, the Rosewood Massacre (Florida) just to see the unnecessary hate.

Please know that racism isn't on black folks to end or it would be over by now.

When I make posts like this, it isn't out of hate. It's out of reality. It's usually because I've seen something that trigger me to make a post. It's because I'm not afraid to talk about race without it being in a hateful way.
