One extra clip and a few stacks of ammo is all you need. Drag and drop the ammo into the clip takes a half a second. Tab>drag>drop>done

You'll save weight and space.

@GrayZoneWarfare Quick tip - Don't carry multiple magazines - carry one extra and a stack or two of ammo. Drag and drop bullet loading is so quick, it's pointless to go another route.
