i read about the hospital rave yday & assumed it was an ill-considered marketing idea by folks who hadn’t fully thought through the many layers of what a hospital represents

but the founder’s clarification now shows how disconnected they are with the ecosystem they seem to be solving for

people aren’t afraid of hospital buildings because they lack music and nightlife. they fear pain, diagnoses, procedures, bills, medical uncertainty and the possibility of losing someone.

the difficult emotions I associate with a hospital come from what my family experienced there when my mother’s hysterectomy was botched, causing her treatment to take much longer than it should have and adding weeks to her agony, not from a shortage of vibes

with @superwomendao, i’ve only had two goals from day 1: bring more women to web3 & help those already in web3 to climb the further..

so when @yuktasbc sent me this yday about how the $50 win from Sanctuary non-tech hackerhouse enabled her to get onchain, create content about her journey and get recognised by the farcaster team, @dwr, @callusfbi community, and most importantly convinced her to grow and build in web3, i felt this inexplicable wave of excitement and satisfaction. that’s the dopamine trip that we built Superwomen DAO for!

so if you’re someone who’s hustling on the side in web3 and putting in extra hours in creating/connecting/hosting/building etc. that is not bringing you your bread and butter but you still do, day in and day out, remember that your littlest efforts can compound into a big impact for someone else and it’ll happen some day without you least expecting it!
