@sbiernacki @dhh Siloed apps mean manual data entry. Example: I create a bid for job in another system and if I win that job, I want to turn the bid items into Fizzy cards.

API means I can automate, which is handy when it’s hundreds/thousands of tasks. Manual entry is inefficient & error prone.

@niccruzpatane I still have trust issues with FSD and the crappy streets here (it does fine; this is a me issue). That and I refuse to use it at night because I can’t turn off auto brights. I’m blinding everyone on the sidewalk, bikers, that squirrel 30ft up the tree. Just let me turn it off.

Any recommendations for alternatives to @todoist ? They completely ruined the app w/ the broken gCal stuff in last update. Tasks no longer show on my calendar no matter what I do. Worked fine for years and they broke it.

Need: cross platform, show tasks on gCal, two way sync

Making the leap from software to hardware (not exclusively; of course I’ll still do software).

First time attempting to design and create a physical product. 3d printing, logic boards, firmware and so on.

Super excited. I’ll share more as it gets closer to prototype.

@slinganswers Canceled Sling today as ZERO NFL games are available today. On Sunday. Says MNF is next available game to watch. Awful that I paid for Orange+Blue+Sports and can’t watch any games.

I’m trying to watch NCAAF Oregon vs Oregon State on Fox. Says it should be on Sling. Sling says I get local channels here.

@dhh Not hearing fans all day is probably higher than battery life for me. MBP is fast and quiet. When Windows laptops can get that without sacrificing performance then I’ll be interested. Sounds like they’re getting close? I like having options.

@parallels Will it support signing into iCloud on a MacOS VM? The feature is available in Sequoia, though trying the Beta RC as a VM does not work

Would you advise against manually updating with an MSU file?

@JenMsft figured I'd ask the local Windows expert. For some reason I'm stuck on 22H2, & can't get 23H2 to be available.

Tried following a bunch of steps I found in various spots online, but no luck.

Think it could be a hardware limitation? Any insight would be much appreciated
