@PGATOUR@TruGreen my wife and I had just arrived, this was our first time at The Rink and first golfer to see hit…and we are in the video :) was amazing, had just bought a “The Rink” hoodie 10 minutes earlier too….
Thank you to @CaesarsReport for the in-depth coverage on Century Lithium and the Angel Island project. We appreciate the continued support and look forward to sharing more updates soon.

Demand for secure North American lithium supply continues to grow as the energy transition accelerates.
With our recently completed financing, Century Lithium is advancing the Angel Island lithium project and strengthening its position in the North American lithium supply chain.

Our Angel Island Project just got a major upgrade! $4.01B NPV, 27.4% IRR, $4,389,OPEX, and 60+ year mine life in Nevada.
The numbers are compelling — watch the full interview to hear CEO Bill Willoughby break it down: https://t.co/oAwDCQdCul

$LCE.V climbing higher this morning after a strong FS update.🔥
Century cut Phase 1 capex to $997M (from $1.54B) and slashed operating costs to $4,389/t LCE (from $8,223/t).
That helped push the after tax NPV (8%) to $4.01B with a 27.4% IRR at $24,000 lithium.
@JeffKlassen29@SaraEisen@MarkJCarney Oh please, I’m a huge fan of Sara but what truth are you speaking of? U.S. starts a trade war with Canada, puts up tariffs, threatens annexation, want to make Canada a state, calls the PM a governor….seriously give your head a shake
@OverDrive1050@HayesTSN@odognine2@jamiemclennan29 You guys should debate the NHL having more than 2 jerseys….like the NBA. There is no need for a Home and a White away jersey….imagine Blue Leafs vs Red Habs etc…
🔥⚡ THE GREAT LITHIUM RECKONING HAS BEGUN ⚡🔥
The lithium market is about to wake up, violently.
📉 Years of underinvestment + delayed projects = structural supply shock
📊 YJ Lee predicts lithium supply deficit:
➡️ 2026 deficit ~100k LCE
➡️ 2029 deficit ~400k LCE
➡️ 2030 deficit >600k LCE
🧠 My earlier prediction:
➡️ 2026 lithium deficit: 50k–200k LCE
👉 Reality is now tracking the upper end and accelerating
💰 Ganfeng Chairman: lithium carbonate price in 2026 ¥150k–200k/t
📈 GFEX already ¥140k+ in JAN 2026
⚠️ Spot > USD $20,000/t
🚀 Don’t be surprised if GFEX exceeds ¥200k by mid-year (>USD 28.5k)
💥 The disconnect is extreme:
🔹 Developers & juniors still trade at 1–10% of NPV
📊 Once the market prices the real supply deficit:
➡️ Developers & juniors re-rate to 50–70% of NPV
➡️ Capital floods back
➡️ Multi-baggers emerge
⚡ This isn’t hype
⚡ This is math
⚡ This is supply vs demand
🔥 2026 = YEAR OF LITHIUM 🔥

.@AlbemarleCorp says demand growing faster than supply 👉 oversupply declining faster than forecast at beginning of year. All margin currently in upstream resource (ie, spodumene), no margin currently in conversion, where there remains overcapacity. That said, sees carbonate and hydroxide inventories now at 1 month down from 3 months earlier this year. One-third of producers unprofitable at current prices. Sees marginal cash costs for producers at $15-20K, but "incentive price" for new production higher than that. $ALB
@pls_global says $1,500 spodumene is incentive price and would need to see better pricing (~$1,200) prevail for some time before considering turning back on Ngungaju. Seeing similar interest to MIN/Posco from customers who want long-term (ie, 2-3+ years) secure and sustainable spodumene supply and value proven Australian producers who can provide consistent supply in volume. BESS, heavy trucks, shipping all strong new demand drivers $PLS.AX
@Lithium_ARG says existing operations are profitable at CURRENT PRICES and PPG green field can achieve 20% IRR at current prices. $LAR
@LithiumAmericas says US government focused on "price discovery" - what costs really are - and thinking in terms of Manhattan Project/Space Race $LAC
$SQM says we are at an "inflection point". Oversupply shrinking to point it's pushing up prices. Prices should rise at least to the point of the least efficient producer, which in their view is $12K. And "incentive price" for new capacity is $15-18kg (note, this is lower than ALB's view), so prices should hover between $12-18K. ESS is now 20% of market and growing faster than EV. And ESS is more evenly distributed than EV (not just China). Re: Mt Holland, they are producing spod at full capacity and b/w spod and hydroxide, they plan to maintain flexibility in what they produce - ie, if margin is in spot and no margin in hydroxide, it doesn't make sense to produce hydroxide, so they won't until it's profitable to do so.
Earlier today, @CenturyLithium $CYDVF announced that they had produced lithium hydroxide at their pilot plant in Nevada using lithium carbonate generated from their Angel Island project.
The Angel Island deposit, due to the particular composition of its lithium-bearing claystone, is being processed with a modified Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) platform. The company has filed a provisional patent for this process, which I would very much love to get a copy of.
Granted, right now they are using legacy methods to produce lithium hydroxide, adding calcium hydroxide to precipitate it out. This appears to be more of a proof-of-concept demonstration to validate that the lithium carbonate produced from their Angel Island project can be successfully converted into battery-grade lithium hydroxide.
They do, however, plan to develop a direct conversion method to produce lithium hydroxide from lithium chloride. By being able to produce both precursors used in lithium-ion manufacturing, they will not only reach profitability faster through initial lithium carbonate sales but also diversify their client base.
Exciting to see federal interest in domestic #lithium projects!
$LCE.V is the 3rd most developed lithium project in Nevada & one of USA's largest deposits. Potential US equity stakes show the strategic importance of securing critical mineral supply chains.

If you learn just 3 things about investing in lithium, be it this:
- I love it, but this sh*t is volatile
- Early-stage explorers are risky, yet upside potential is BIG
- Lithium-ion to remain prevalent battery type for the rest of this decade, likely next
