@arothwdwc@UniversalORL If you think that's good, you should try the new mini tarts at Sugarplums. They're genuinely fantastic! I always buy a few at a time!
@cttechgenius@AP The executive might enforce a law, but if it's interpreted and deemed unconstitutional by a judge then it's not judicial overreach. That's called checks and balances. ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
@Hiloshark@WDWNT The thing is this isn't an attendance thing, it's labor. You can staff based on attendance projections but they could be wrong. Reservations are, likely, far more accurate. They would rather staff on a known number rather than an estimate and therefore save money on labor costs.
@Zaidlar37@ScottGustin A friend of mine suggested that it could be a press release sent specifically to media outlets. It's one thing if fan blogs quote it despite not being on the Parks Blog, but when CNBC, WESH, and Orlando Sentinel are quoting it then I know it's legit.
@ScottGustin Im finding a lot of people reporting this from blogs to CNBC, but can't seem to find the initial press release from Disney. Which website is it on? Parks Blog?
@JediSympathiser@Oswald_A_Lisker I'm of the few people who agree with you on this. TLJ humanized Luke which I appreciate unlike the EU books turned Luke into just short of a god. Luke, CW Anakin (obvi) , and Obi-wan ALL had moments of darkness because those moments make them human. Flaws make good characters.
@JayzTwoCents@MISJedi Parts of Orlando got hit pretty hard. Not so much the wind, was still 60mph+ gusts, but the sheer amount of rain it dropped. Few of the lakes in the metro area overflowed and flooded. There's serious flooding near Universal Studios as well, mainly one of the hotel entrances.
@arothwdwc I may just take you up on that! Considering I have a binder of various commemorative park maps and cast paper media, I'm becoming more like my dad than I care to admit.
@arothwdwc I really wish we could have stuff like this again. I know Disney and Lucasfilm take the brand super seriously now, but at the same time, this was just plain fun.
@Lochneffmonster@Cubsbbnation@WDWNT If that was the case then I'd be ok with it. But you can still make things look beat-up while still being new construction. Both Diagon Alley and Pandora do a good job of making a world that looks old and worn without it being actually neglected.
@Cubsbbnation@WDWNT Imagine going to the parks everyday to have fun but, the only thing you see is the sheer scope of neglect that never used to exist. TSL is 6 months old and has zero excuse to be this run down this fast.
