Americans are amazing. They think freedoms are dependent on the goodwill of rulers but still believe it's a democracy. Their elections keep getting stolen and they think they'll fix it by voting. And their famed system is now giving a choice between a genocidaire and a fascist.
The struggle playing out in Atlanta is a fight for the future. If the state is successful in its prosectuion, then this will set a terrifying precedent going forward. No act of protest is protected, and no one is safe.
i think it could be a problem that there (seems to be) a desire for financial success, celebrity notoriety, mainstream platforming etc. to be both evidence of and reward for having good politics and/or being a good person
