Devastating news just in from Iceland - the Icelandic government will allow whalers to hunt fin whales again after suspending the hunt this summer.
Suggesting that better training for hunters, education and better equipment or killing methods could ever make whaling acceptable is a joke. Killing a whale cannot be done humanely no matter the amount of training. Our team have been engaging with the government and our partners on the ground to expose the cruelty.
This is heartbreaking news, but now is not the time to give up. We will keep fighting until this barbaric killing comes to an end - the majority of Icelanders back an end to whaling, and we stand beside them.
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO.
Don't do this - human rights defenders already have images and videos undermined - don't contribute to it by utilizing AI-generated imagery in this way. Yes, there will be ways to use AI-generated imagery for advocacy - this is not it.

#stadsdichter
