Seriously @Internode@TPG_Telecom, get your act together. Your transition of email services to "The Messaging Co"(#atmail) is bloody woeful, and that's being generous. The lack of communication on the "progress" does not bode well for the future either.

... under-performing board members and instead invest in making their systems and processes actually *workable*, let alone more efficient. Investing in their systems and applications developers rather than outsourcing them to the cheapest "body shop" wouldn't go astray either.
that I'd lost my mobile and needed to turn SMS notifications/"protection" *OFF*.
Given the plethora of excellent third-party 2FA applications out there, one wonders why Westpac and others still persist in the security-compromised SMS system or physical tokens?

Yes, I know SMS is ubiquitous, but so are authenticator applications like Authy, Yubico, 2FA, Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, Duo Mobile and RSA SecurID.
The banks need to divert some of the obscene profits they make away from the over-inflated salaries of ...

wanted to send a code via SMS to my mobile.
When I telephoned their call centre (and wasn't *that* an exercise in frustration) it took close to 40 minutes before I got on to a person who couldn't help me because they needed to send an SMS code, even though I'd told him ...

Why are the banks so wedded to SMS for *everything*?
Lost my mobile (old Nokia) on the way home last night, so went to enrol my tablet for OTP within the #Westpac App.
The application (even after I'd logged in using both my full account details and linked biometric) still ...

So, Elon-gated Musk-rat (you all know who he is), has Xterminated, Xtinguished and Xecuted "twitter" and rebranded it as "X".
I think that was Xtraordinarily stupid, because most people now simply want to Space X!
I'm going to call it "twiXter" from now on.
Time to eXit?
@mathewlowry@ev@Medium@elonmusk@Pocket@obsdmd Lots of upheavals being experienced by various social media outlets and online publishing platforms around the world, it would seem, Mathew! Does anyone *really* know who owns whom anymore?
@JaneFriedman A case could be made that these fraudulent items are effectively "counterfeit goods", at which point anyone trading in them (including facilitating their trade) can face civil or criminal penalties, with plenty of legislation around the world for combatting counterfeit goods.
As a kid, I was fascinated by many things, including locks. Consequently, it's no surprise that one of my favourite Youtubers is "The Lockpicking Lawyer"
Here's a brilliant (yet seriously scary) video from about a year ago.

@MikeCarlton01 Can someone please explain to me how the rain was caused by "cheating Aussies"?
I'm sure farmers in drought-stricken countries all over the world would be keen to know the secret.
@RobChalmers11@bigjsl It at least sounds like "gaining a financial advantage via deception" to me, if at least some of the sales were predicated upon purported (ie advertised) driving range per charge.
"X" marks the rot,
I xit you not!
The move from "twitter" to "xitter" will leave some feeling bitter,
however it explains that Musk-y aroma from between the xheets!
@CraigHill01@bigjsl Quite frankly, I trust neither side in this pending referendum. Comments from both campaigns leave me extremely concerned as to how this so-called "Voice" will or won't work and how it will impact our society going forward. Regardless of which side wins, I think we will all lose.
